Laminate Furniture Care Instructions
Laminate furniture is designed for everyday durability and easy maintenance. With regular care and protection from heat, moisture, and scratches, it will retain its appearance and functionality for years to come.
Regular Care
- Dust regularly with a soft microfiber cloth.
- Wipe surfaces with a soft cloth lightly dampened with water or a mild soap solution, then dry immediately.
- Clean spills promptly to help prevent moisture from reaching edges and seams.
Surface Protection
- Use coasters, protective pads, or heat-resistant mats beneath hot styling tools, perfumes, decorative accessories, and other frequently moved items.
- Avoid placing extremely hot, wet, rough, or sharp objects directly on the surface.
- Do not drag heavy objects across the furniture.
Cleaning
- Avoid bleach, ammonia, abrasive cleaners, solvent-based products, wax or oil-based polishes, steel wool, scouring pads, and rough sponges.
- Clean beauty products, acetone, nail polish remover, hair dye, and other cosmetic spills immediately to help protect the finish.
Moisture & Placement
- The furniture is made with moisture-resistant materials but is not waterproof.
- Avoid standing water, steam, excessive humidity, and prolonged moisture, especially around edges and joints.
- Keep furniture away from direct sunlight, fireplaces, radiators, and other heat sources.
Hardware & Maintenance
- Allow soft-close drawers to close naturally and avoid forcing them shut.
- Periodically check and tighten hardware and fittings to maintain stability.
With proper care and regular maintenance, your furniture will continue to look beautiful and perform well for years to come.
